How to Use Your Every Door Direct Mailers

Our Breakthrough Broker Every Door Direct Mailers are ready to use as Every Door Direct Mailpieces.

  1. Create a USPS Account - Set up your USPS EDDM Account to get started at http://www.usps.com. If you wish to skip account creation, you may bring your cards to a local USPS Post Office to speak with an EDDM Specialist. Please note: Our cards are made to use as EDDM Retail® pieces and allow up to 5,000 mailpieces per day per ZIP code. If your needs are larger, you will need to use an EDDM Business Account and may need to purchase a separate postage permit. Our cards will not work with EDDM Business as they require a different indicia.
  2. Select Your Routes - Choose the carrier routes on the EDDM Mapping tool where you think your customers live. Use the USPS EDDM Mapping Tool here: https://eddm.usps.com/eddm/customer/routeSearch.action
  3. Order Your Breakthrough Broker Every Door Direct Mailers - After finding your route and getting an estimate of the number of mailers you will need, order your EDDM Mailers from BB. Mailers must be packaged in quantities of 50-100.
  4. Choose Your Drop Off Date - You can pay for your mailing online or at the Post Office™ where you drop it off. Select your drop-off date based on how many deliveries you want and where you plan to send them.
  5. Prepare Mailing Bundles - Bundle your mailing in stacks of 50-100 mailpieces. Bundles may not be higher than 6 inches.
  6. Fill Out Processing Forms - Facing slips and EDDM forms tell the Postal Service™ how to process and deliver your order. Attach a facing slip to the top of every bundle. If a customer wants to be removed from your mailings, include the customer's address in the "Do Not Deliver Address" column on the facing slip.   7. Pay for Postage - Pay with a free USPS.com® account online or pay at the Post Office™. Charges are based on the type of account you have and the size of your mailing. For current postage pricing, please click here: https://www.usps.com/business/every-door-direct-mail.htm#postage
  8. Submit Your Mailing - Take or send your mailing to a Post Office for delivery.

  3. Open your desired marketing template and select two-agent or team in the left sidebar.

  2. Click the Edit Primary Brand Color widget.
  3. Select your brand color with the color picker or enter the Hexcode and click Select.
